Our updated Password Policy for ALL Matrix Platform users goes live in Mid-April. Here's what you need to know.

Did this news just rock your world?

Although the Matrix Platform regularly experiences change — Release v2025.03 lands on March 30! — how you log in to any of our apps has remained consistent. Give this message a "thumbs up" if you're still using your original Matrix password.

That changes now.

Aligning our Password Policy more closely with CEVA's global standards regarding password security isn't just good for business, both yours and ours, it also helps heighten cybersecurity measures for all. If you google "2025 logistics trends", you'll see that businesses value AI, analytics, visibility, sustainability and ... cybersecurity.

Like animal prints and wide-leg jeans, we are so on trend.

Q: What are the new password requirements?

All users will be required to change their password. New passwords must have 12 characters. So, if your previous password was gojags — that's not going to fly. New passwords also must meet at least three of the following four character rules:

one uppercase letter
one lowercase letter
one number
one special character (like @ or %)

Q: When will I need to change my password?

The new Matrix Password Policy will be rolled out to users in a phased approach over the next few months. The first group of users will be notified in late April. Once notified, you'll have 14 days to reset your password. You can reset your password from the Expiration Alert that is triggered when logging in to any Matrix application! By the end of the summer all users should have new, compliant passwords.

P.S. If you choose to update your password before receiving an expiration alert, your new password must adhere to the new password requirements outlined above. This also is true if you need to reset your password using the "Forgot Password" link.

Q: What apps are impacted?

ALL Matrix Platform login points are impacted. This includes the MyMatrix login screen — the Platform's main gateway into Matrix TMS, SCM and its commonly-used modules like YMS, SCI and more — Matrix FSS, the Matrix Mobility suite of applications (Transport, Scan, YMS, Onboard), Matrix Carrier Portal and Matrix Admin.

Q: How often will I need to change my password?

Every 120 days, or three times a year.

Now that we've relayed the most important news, let's have some fun ...
